I just did a run to Sydney Airport and back from the North Shore.

Traffic at the airport itself was pretty quiet, as would be expected,
but everywhere else it was every which-way. Where are these people going?

Sylvia.

Dunno. I walked past a car today with some anti-vax message painted on
the back into a shop that had 4 people in it not wearing masks. Two were
hovering around the entrance and then whilst the girl at the counter had
her back turned slipped in - didn't sign in or put a mask on. They were
clearly not shopping either, just looking to get a reaction out of
someone. There were two others just walking around inside the shop. I
asked one if they had forgotten to put their mask on and sure enough set
them off on their anti-vax tirade. Fucking demented morons.

Traffic around Melbourne is pretty much at pre Covid levels or at least
it seems that way possibly due to the massive amount of roadworks
everywhere, trips that used to take an hour now take 2.

He’s back at it folks, trying to pick a fight, troll behaviour all the way.

Anyway Darren, it was a comment on an *observation* and since it was about
*traffic* it is on topic for aus.*cars*.

There's a woosh moment for you right there. Let me dumb it down for you.
You were out doing whatever *you* wanted, but apparently anyone else
doing the same thing was a problem.

**My experience is that weekday traffic is down, but weekend traffic is
pretty much the same. Thing is that people don't appear to be going to
shops, cafes and restaurants in large numbers, like they typically
would. However, I visited Centennial Park last weekend and it was very
busy. People enjoying cricket, picnics, riding those silly 6 person
quadracycles, etc. All able to keep their distance from each other and
enjoy the outdoors. For my part, we collected mother-in-law from
Cronulla, drove to Centennial Park for a bit, then back through
Paddington and across to Cow and Moon for the best ice cream on the
planet (literally). Usually, the queue for ice cream extends for about
45 minutes on a nice day (which it was). I was served within 5 minutes.
Then back for barra and chips at Sans Souci (again: served very quickly,
which was unusual). I drove through Cronulla yesterday morning and
afternoon. The two main fish and chip shops were very light on customers
and some of the cafes had closed their doors. Very few people eating
breakfast (usually, breakfast is a very busy time in Cronulla).

So, maybe people were just enjoying a nice drive. I have noticed that
the Heathcote Native Nursery has been pretty busy during the pandemic,
so I guess more people are gardening.

Ignore the idiot. Aside from being a buffoon, he's insanely jealous of
people who have places to go. Especially now that he's been banned from his
neighborhood wreckers yard.

it's hard to beat this:
https://www.peters.com.au/products/original-vanilla/ no matter how fancy
it is. and you don't need to go any further than your fridge freezer to
get it.. assuming you've already bought some of course.

Literally?

Have you sampled all the ice cream from around the world or is that your
opining based on them entering some competition years ago and winning
that from select entrants?
