Extensive fog covering almost all of the sea. The fog bank has
retreated to the shoreline after affecting us from time to time
this morning, until around 1245Z. The height of the fog top has
lowered to about 200 feet amsl, so I am looking down on all of
it but it's still too thick to call it shallow fog. A mostly
sunny day, nevertheless. Cu hum inland over the Island, while
in the far distance I can discern Cb anvils to the NW and NNE.
Visibility good inland but very poor, improving to poor along
the coast and out to sea. Wind mainly SW'ly F1-2. Sea state
not available as I'm unable to see the sea!
