Yet another EV battery fire on a ship according to some sources. Around
4000 cars on that boat and a good number of those luxury vehicles... ouch.

Hang on. Iirc, it was largely Porsches that were on another cargo boat wot
sank just a couple of years back. Maybe VW are running an insurance scam?

Der, that's the same ship mentioned in the thread "Were batteries the
cause" in this NG yesterday.

Neither report mentions BEVs, there is nothing, other than speculation,
to indicate that it was started by a battery.

Lol :)

Not only is he three times zones behind his own arse as usual, but is
quite happy to throw speculative crap into the mix as if it's "fact".
But apparently *I'm* the one who has to get dragged over the coals for
talking shit if I mention the sky is blue.

These retards are their own worst enemies :)

Nobody said it was started by a battery but it's a battery fire now.

"Lithium-ion batteries in the electric cars on board have caught fire
and the blaze requires specialist equipment to extinguish, captain Joao
Mendes Cabecas of the port of Hortas said"
