When I try to restrict permissions on an existing or new file (File/Restrict
permissions) in Excel 2019/Ventura I get the message 'You cannot set
permissions or open a file with restricted permission because an error
occurred'.

Does anyone know what that error is, or how to get round it? Google's no help
- so this could be weirdness on my iMac.

I get the same on O365 Excel and Monterey. This is an institutional account
so work may have restricted
it for me.
