**So? That was not what he was investigating. He proved that rising CO2
levels lead to rising temperatures. Much later, climate scientists have
discovered that rising temperatures, lead to rising CO2 (and methane)
levels.

The positive feedback will continue, until the feedback loop is broken.
IOW: CO2 emissions are dramatically curbed.
