Kind of groggy coming to until I heard "almost 2cm." Instantly I'm wide awake yelling, "TWO CENTIMETERS?!?!?!?," so loud they could hear it in the operating room.

Before the laser lithotripsy, suspecting something unique from cycling at 45°C for thousands of miles, I asked for cystoscopy photos of the bladder stones.

It was closing time by the time they finished, 3X longer than planned. My planned ride gave up and shut off voice mail. Nevertheless they got the photos, even including one of them assembled on a piece of gauze. So many backup ride asked if was dog food.

As soon as I got home I realized I couldn't get the prescription filled w/o my ID so had to ebike back to the hospital where the vehicle was parked. By then the pharmacy was closed.

I have 3 water bottle cages loaded with 1 liter bottles on an old hybrid. This is _not_ enough for 30 km at 45°C.

If you are frequently up all night getting water to drink sooner or later you _will_ get stones.

The first place to break the record that morning was a weather station very
near to Gatwick, a place that operates jet aircraft.
