And the equal warmest month in the 174 year record. Equal with September 2023 (!) +1.44C is almost 0.4C above any November before.

These are stunning figures. Unbelievable in many ways. I did not expect the world to have temperatures this high, in this El Niño, but I did expect records to be set. These records are very unexpected and the global temperatures being recorded are unprecedented in recorded history.

We must grasp the nettle and abandon fossil fuels ASAP, or our descendants will have untold problems a century from now with perhaps many more areas of the world that will be uninhabitable and others with severe problems. The problems are now *that* acute.
