No John,
The values were not transposed. The grass min refers to the 'night time'
period 16 to 09z, and the air min to 09-09z.
The air min was the temperature at 09z on the 11th, the temperature rose to
around 5C during the day and remained there overnight. There was a little
drizzle during the evening and overnight, and as the humidity was well below
saturation, the grass min, in the absence of any cloud breaks, probably
registered the wet bulb min.
