At the reception for my first ex-wife's fifth wedding (Yes, it's
complicated) our son and I agreed that while we couldn't definitively
identify the fizzy wine we were reasonably confident that a cat had been
involved in its production.

At the same event the groom's parents came up to me and asked who I was
and how I came to be there. Ex-wife stood there in horror while I took a
long beat and then said "Oh, <name redacted> and I wewe at university
together. We go back a long way."
