Hello all
Until yesterday my download speed on my pc was around 36Mbps. The Internet was down for a while yesterday and since
it came back up my speed has dropped drastically, ie. today my download speed is 2 - 3.5 Mbps. This is on my pc. A spped
test on my tablet shows a speed of 33 Mbps.
Can anyone give me advice on where to start looking to find out why the drop ? It appears that it is not a proble with
my isp (talktalk) but my pc.
Can anyone help please ?
TIA

Reboot the PC

Disable the Wifi on the PC and connect it to the router using an
Ethernet cable. If you already use a cable, try a different one.

As its only affecting one device on the network ,no.

Turn off wifi and connect directly with a know working cable only then
test again.

So why do you think your speed is down to ~3mbps? Everything you've posted
points it to being much higher: speed test, network manager, link speed.

Despite that the usual solution is to reboot the router and the PC. Solves
most issues.
