When the Jubilee line came to Canary Wharf it was unfortunate it didn't
have a direct interchange with the DLR which could have been done if they'd
built the station in the middle of the dock instead of on the east but
nonetheless its only a short walk to Heron Quays.

However, I'm wondering the thought processes that went on when it was
decided to put the liz line 300m north of the jubilee. Given its been built
underneath other tube stations why the hell didn't they build it underneath
canary wharf station too and make the interchange nice and simple without
even having to cross gate lines?
