Interesting that Alaska Airlines has a major
hub in Achorage where they do quite a bit
of very heavy maintenance on real antiques
like C47s and Electras which they still use.
Presumably they use the specialised pens that
you may have ordered for the same sort or work.

I know that Buffalo Airways in Canada still use C47's and Electra's and
also that at one time Alaska used those aircraft but I can't find
anything saying that Alaska still flys those old planes?

If you're flying Alaskan on one of their 737 Max-9s, try and avoid seat
26K, if you can't avoid it check for bolts rolling around on the floor :)

Likely when they were going very cheap indeed.

Bit surprising in some ways given how low to the ground the engines are.

Likely to be 'interesting' for the engine if they

Very likely but they did spend a lot of money getting it up to spec.

That wouldn't be fun, its main use is between Edmonton and Yellowknife
shuttling freight so between 2 decent size airports.
AFAIK the 737 200's can operate into unsealed runways if fitted with a
"gravel kit", don't know if the 300's can do that, possibly not with
bigger engines being closer to the ground.
