Was a bit this morning - didn't look in Thunderbird as though the post
had been sent. I then saved the file (as a draft in T'bird) and reopened
it to send. When I tried to send t'bird said it had been sent and when I
looked at the NG there were my original TWO copies of the same post.

Just tried sending the above and it sat there twiddling its toes but
when I looked at the NG it was there.

Ergo E-S is not sending delivery acks.

After sending a couple of my posts twice, it does indeed seem to have
settled down. Phew!
