I bought this gloss black XL Shoei XR1100 several years ago as an "end of
line" reduced item. I was at the time using another XR1100 which was near
end of life. I nicked the visor off the new one for old one being used for
commuting, then scratched it immediately.

Gmail tells me I bought a new visor in 2017 from Racevisros, but I must
have bought the XR1100 in a shop as I have no Gmail for that purchase. This
visor is on the helmet now and is in good nick. There are also 2 sets of OE
35mm cheek pads and well worn pair of thinner ones. I found the helmet a
bit tight with the OE cheek pads. There are also 2 used clear visors, one
has a pinlock fitted so presumably I swapped this over in winter. Also a
well used and scratched dark visor.

Before I started using the new one, I tried on a Neotec, bought it and have
been using this for touring ever since. I don't like full face helmets now!

The maker's label gives the model no. and has a field for manufacture date
but this is blank, so I have no idea when the helmet was made. It has never
been used so has never been exposed to sun. It has been kept indoors, under
a bed in it's orignal box.
