This states that it dies down over the cooler months.

However the last week has been very mild, with weather coming up from the
Azores, so I wondered if this could also carry spores.

Our cherry tomato plant on the deck under cover (plastic roof) is still
flowering and has some fruit still ripening. I brought 4 in today.

However there look to be potentially the first signs of blight on a couple
of leaves.

Just wondering if blight can still come up from warmer climes in this
unusually warm, wet weather.

Happy New Year

"When does blight strike?
Blight prediction services based on weather parameters are available which
text or email subscribers when there two consecutive days over 10C, and
each days has at least ten hours of relative humidity of 90% or over
occur or are expected (a so-called 'Smith period'). "

Think the last few days may well have qualified.
