Try to connect to server and a message box named as Alert pops up. There is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it,
and a box with OK in it. Thats it!...... click on the box and it disappears.. But problem remains. Any ideas?.

What mechanism are you using to connect to it?

What are the Operating Systems involved?

Is it over a network? What sort of network?

Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...

Yes lot's of people were getting it. Just a server problem that
Thunderbird doesn't understand or have a message for so it showed a
blank alert they have sorted it now.

Possibly due to an outdated security certificate at Eternal September,
which they now appear to have fixed.
