Any idea when this will be released? Although not having a developer
account I’ve been able to download the dev betas with help from Mr
Macintosh. I’ve ended up focussing on VMs created via Howard Oakley’s
Viable tool. The VMs are somewhat restrictive, for example AppleIds don’t
function thus restricting access to the App Store etc. These restrictions
are Apple’s incidentally. It would be nice to use a hopefully pretty stable
public beta and create a ‘proper’ bootable system either in a volume-set on
my internal SSD or external drive. To be fair the dev betas have all been
pretty stable so maybe I should just go ahead anyway?

The dev betas are stable, we're on 3 at the mo and even 1 was almost
entirely fine apart from some oddities around Metal support which have
now been fixed.

Well I’ve gone for it on my MBP on which I can now dual boot either Ventura
or Sonoma. Yes I made sure I had an uptodate TM Backup before anyone asks!
I seem to be having a slight problem with Safari and a disappearing Menu
Bar but haven’t had time to investigate in detail yet.

Yup. Still beta 3 but that originally came as 23A5286g and the new
update is 23A5286i.

Still a few problems with the disappearing menu bar and not only with Safari. Easily
worked around, e.g. By clicking the offending app's icon in the Dock. I get the feeling
that the battery drain is heavier than with Ventura. That's not unusual with betas so I'm
not going to fret over it.
