It is remarkably mild today. One daffodil opened yesterday but it is
being thrashed around in the wind today. In other years I have had them
open in the last week of January which is very early for North Yorks.

Antirrhinums and pelargoniums have routinely overwintered outside for
the past couple of years. They get quite big if allowed to keep growing.

Photographed a Red Admiral that was flying around our garden on the 9th
Feb and there was a Painted Lady flying around the week before. Strange.

I noticed a primrose in our lawn today.

If any butterfly out in this wind it's not the temperature it needs to
worry about!
