Usenet is slowly dying, it's more difficult to get here than web based
stuff not just a click away. Used to love the alt.fanlandrover group (I
have a 1986 90) but that died completely years ago and went to forums
on the web.

I don't actually follow it but there is the BBC Gardeners World online
forum which has somewhat more traffic.

There are forums you can join for specific plant groups but here is one
of the best places still for asking odd questions on just about
anything! I have had years of good advice here!
