I think it must have been a Cricinfo error, as it now says Ollie Pope, which makes more sense.

OK. I was more than a little surprised when I saw Swan's name but we have had so many sudden emergencies with players struck down by Covid that it did not seem to be wildly implausible because the putative player could have been playing grade cricket in Oz. . RH

One does wonder, though, how someone who claims to know stuff about
English cricket failed to notice that his "correction" was to (a
misspelled version of) a name which has no f-c stats associated with
it. (I'm not saying there isn't an Oliver Swan, just that he's never
played first-class cricket.)

given how little cricket most of the test players have had, they might
have gone the whole way with this mix n match game and had
hameed rory malan etc open and bat for the lyons.

Swan is a well estanblished Minor County cricket (Bedfordshire_)

Graeme also played a few matches for Bedfordshire when he was 17.

His father was from Northumberland, though, while Oliver is from
Nottingham, and it appears that his father and grandfather were also
from Notts.
