Is there a way to enable backups from your idevices that doesn't incur this
warning every time they are plugged in?
Used to be that once you had agreed to trust the wretched thing all was fine
but these days Finder keeps on telling me to unlock the blasted things...

1. Use iCloud and Wifi for this purpose.
or
2. Tick "Synchronise automatically, when this iPhone is connected"
in the Finder.

(I use a German interface)

If you set it to not sync automatically, does it connect without
prompting and then let you click the Sync Now button?

I can't seem to find a work around and fail to see why, if left connected and
I trust the damn computer in the morning, it needs to ask again in the
afternoon...

What happens if you check "Show this phone when on WiFi"? It does enable you
to backup without a USB connection if the iPhone is on and in range - I've
just tried it - but you still have to authorise the backup on the phone with
your pin.

I only chose this option a couple of days ago and haven't tried a backup with
a USB yet.
