Nah, he is from earth and we still have Mars batting. If he gets his ton it will be one of the worse I have seen, he played and missed more then boundaries hit .

The problem is England bowled a good length for English conditions but not for the Land of Oz. They were more focused on not getting smacked around the park and bowled a length that was not easy to score from. And as for the "bodyline" . I would hope we return it in spades with the same negative bodyline type fields.

Why on earth they left out Wood I'll never know. Oh, wait a minute - that'll be the same reason they left out Broad and Anderson on a green wicket on a cloudy humid day. :-( Saving them all up for a rainy day.

Would you prefer to have Wood in this game or the next, because he
couldn't play both. If he plays back-to-back Tests, he needs at least
10 days off.

I don't know about Dave but, given the crucial importance of this Test
in the context of the series, I think I'd have rather had him in this
Test and missing the next one. Of course the risk would be that, if he
was still feeling the effects of the first Test, he might have broken
down after 5 overs.

But in a 5 man pace attack his load could be managed
Woakes bowled 24 overs in over 5 sessions.

A 3 over spell to start session 1, a 3 over spell to finish session 1
a 3 over spell in the middle session & a 3 over spell in the night session would be enough to equal Woakes' overs for the innings
