Hopefully he'll make a full and rapid recovery. At least he won't have
to bat tomorrow now.

The remarkable thing about England's innings is that so far Lyon hasn't
taken a wicket, given the amount of turn and bounce he was getting.
England must have thought they were back in India.

The one question left about this Test is whether England will lose in
session 1 or session 2. (I can't see them lasting into the final
session.) I think it's just about 50-50.

Hashim Amal had his plums damaged badly. He batted on after being hit
and collapsed in the dressing room later on. He needed bollox
rebuilding surgery.

Number #1 being the comedic value of their selections. They've been the
highlight of their tour so far. I suspect that they'll drop Root and Malan
for T3. And then forget to replace them.

Meh, I didn't see much of it but he didn't seem terrible.
He's apparently started as an offie and still bowls it at the nets reasonably commonly.

I remember Tony Grieg taking up off spin late in his England career. He
bowled it at near medium pace, and was much more effective than he was
with his seamers. Perhaps Robinson could mix it up a little.
