Sudden lack of the pink stuff. I've won no Tesslas, Range Rollers,
Glofs, no-one's trying to flog me investment 'apartments', &c.

Had a big search on t'intertubes recently for pickled On!on recipes,
which shows solid pickled On!ons in the 'Highlights' slot at the bottom
of the opening page of Fieryface.

Obviously no Big Bucks™ in pickled On!ons then.

I never searched any of the other pink subjects, thobut...

Lucky you. I had a quick furtle through my spam box this morning to see if
anything had got in there that shouldn't have and there was quite a haul of

Two arrived here asking me to claim my free Smeg kettle. Maybe the
perpetrators of this one need to boil the water and pour it down the front
of their trousers.

Being infested with a clod, that reminds me of Inhaling. Boiling
water and something vapourous, head over puddingbasin, towel over head.

Waste of time. I've got enough stuff dribbling out of me nose without
any help, it's not like I can just empty my head.

You put Frys Balsam into the water. Strangely to some extent in the early
stages of bunged up ness it used to help, but you cannot go through the day
continuing inhaling this stuff.
I think the company who makes an aerosol of sea water to squirt up your
nose must win the con job award of the year, as it is it seems completely
pointless.

I still use Friars' Balsam when I have prolonged sniffles. It doesn't cure
anything but it does ease the symptoms a little.

The saltwater spray works for me.
I had a squeezy bottle after a nasal operation which came with sachets
of powder. When they ran out I was recommended to use the bottle ~ 1/4
pint with a large pinch of table salt and similar of bicarb. However the
seawater spray works just as well and it's handy.

But other people seem to think it jbexeth for them. Humans, what can you do ?

Headache mostly gone, now. Maybe it was worse because I haven't had one
for a few years ?

In the past it would never have crossed my mind to wear a mask when I go
shopping because of a cold. But now ... well, why not ?
