Surprised me and showed that we didnt play enough Test cricket and no real standout performer

Still I could hear the screams from North of the Tweed

The AB medal is hugely devalued because of its two flaws.

Flaw (1) is that it's a simple 3,2,1 vote for every game. There is no
weighting according to the magnitude of the players performance. ie An
opening bat who scores a match-winning 200 not gets the same points as a
bowler who takes 4/130 in an innings loss. In my world *all* players should
be rated aout of 10 in every game. Ideally, by me. :-)

Flaw (2) is almost as bad. The media have a formal say in the awarding of
votes. No further comment necessary.
