Thanks Tone. A surprising number of blokes die from it (and even more die

I did have one sweet young female junior doctor, who couldn't reach it
up my fat arse!

Quite a nice experience though! Until she called in a male colleague who
was a damned sight rougher!

I recall a nice young nurse who ran into the treatment room yelling "don't
move, don't move". It was my first session under the radiation machine and
I hadn't noticed that the platform was lying on had been gently lifted
several feet in the air up to the zapping chamine. I was about to roll
myself off it. I got a stern talking to from the nice nurse and I didn't
make that mistake again.

Define “simple”. A PSA is simple to perform, less easy to interpret. It can
lead to much invasive investigation and possible “over-treatment” which
carries a morbidity and mortality risk.

I think that there are newer/better/more specific blood tests in the
pipeline which will be a good thing when they become available.

I have a friend who is a pathologist, when training he had to
learn how to do rectal exams. This man who has no trouble doing post
mortems on gangreen cases and trauma death where it's just a bag of
parts says doing rectal exams made him wretch.
