The powers that be in English cricket have never promoted County Championship cricket . Such promotion of cricket that has been made has been of limited overs competitions. .

The could promote Championship Cricket simply and at little cost by saying any ticket stub to see any cricket match played by England could be presented to a CC game for a day's county cricket without charge. RH

FC cricket is not consumer friendly. No one wants to watch it.

i think he has a point. I would certainly watch a package of hilites from the days play at each ground on FtA tv. As most
counties can stream their play it would be easy to put together. but there isnt much interest at the BBC for 'elitist' sports
especially those tainted by revelations of racism. It would probably be an uphill battle, but perhaps they could
interest C4 or C5 who have hardly any sports coverage to take an interest. It might be difficult tho.
