for the 1st test at Lords

1. Alistair Cook
well a comeback seems unlikely
2. Ben Compton
almost no one had heard of him before last week
3. James Vince
as captain seems very unlikely
4. Ollie Pope
only if the match is at the Oval
5. James Bracey
plucked from obscurity last year, certainly wont be keeper
6. Matt Critchley
a legspinner all rounder? In England? no way!
7. Jos Butler
flying high in IPL but rubbish in tests, we wont be seeing him again
with the red ball, or will we?
8. Darren Stevens
his record speaks for itself. Unfortunately hes 45.
9. Ollie Robinson
dodgy back and now shoulder problems make a quick return unlikely
10. Ollie Stone
also dodgy back, and thats too many ollies
11. Jofra Archer
Maybe he can learn to bowl with his left arm.
