Good morning and White Rabbits etc from Somerset.
56F and 1008mb. After an eighth of an inch of rain overnight and a
forecast for more showers to come, I am looking out of my window at
plenty of blue sky and bright sunshine. It is pretty windy though so it
could change quite quickly.

Best wishes to everybody.

Jim

Morning from a dry, cool, bright and sunny but gusty day here in
South Yorkshire. We've had a weak BYT here from dawn and he is getting
stronger as the morning progresses. Temperature out there is 13.8C
(56.8F), barometric pressure is just starting to rise again at 1005.0
mB and RH showing as 75%. Forecast is for it to remain sunny 'til
beyond tea-time with the skies remaining clear until around midnight.
If we're lucky the temperature should peak at 14C (57.2F) by
mid-afternoon. Presumably the cooling gusty, up to 20 mph wind from the
WSW won't be helping. Have a great 1st day of October 2021.
Tabby visited twice yesterday, for afternoon tea and supper, but
no sightings of her yet today. After a quick amble outside early on,
Sootie returned by 09:30 and went back to her bed. Don't know what she
knows that I don't know, but it seems that it's bad enough for her to
cancel another day.
