interview, when asked about his legacy ..
He said he doesn't worry too much about it -

The only Lightfoot I have heard of was Hannah Lightfoot who was said to
have been the first and legitimate wife and mother of the children of
Prince George later King George III. Any relation?

Yes me too. I guess he is best known for the Wreck of the Edwin Fitzgerald,
of which there seem to be two recordings. one with more feeling that
unfortunately fades at the end and another that ends but sounds like he was
a bit sick of singing it.

I bought his album on the strength of that one song. Every other track was
acoustic. I was bitterly disappointed and felt cheated. I've not played it
since...
