Apparently England will play 3 tests in Pakistan this
December, I thought i heard on 5live [i was half asleep
on the dorset coast but its not something i usually
dream about]. Maybe theres a link between this and
englands dramatic loss of form - no one wants to go ;-)

There being a couple of months between the T20s and the Tests suggests
otherwise, but I'm sure jzf will be able to explain it.

Paul Stirling had a pretty dull international season but he seems to
be going rightly in the 100.

in spite of that he looks like a heart attack waiting to happen.
clearly hes been taking all those just eat adverts too literally.

but i would have thought 1 of the teams might have signed up
dockrell if irland have no more matches for a while. he seems
to have become quite a finisher, i think the term is, plus he
can bowl.

Dockrell has hit his straps. He was the great slow bowling prospect in
his teens and now he bats.

Stirling looks more like a front row than a opening batsman. His
Father Brian was the first rugby ref to use radios to do whatever
they do with them, I think he said it was on BBC and everything went
well first half. He left the gadget in the changing room for the 2nd
half (can't remember how that happened) and the sound engineers were
baffled.They said 2nd half was too garbled to understand.and just
sounded like running water.
