After Stevens showing how it's done it's only fair to support his team
and hope he plays and does it again in the most important match.

It would be a nice way for him to go after losing his contract.

I'm still expecting a re-run of last year (?) or was it a couple of years ago where it was announced he was going to be let go. Watch him smear the bowling around next year and get 30+ wickets in the CC if he drops down a league or two.

Watching Stevens first-hand (not on the pitch) at the Oval and Beckenham in the last couple of years has been an eye-opener. He sits and chats to the fans like they're old friends (maybe some of them are). He's a far cry from the mono-syllabic bores that make up many professional sportspeople when dealing with fans/public.
