I've just voted in the MCC's SGM, so that's one vote for the
Committee's view.

The brief from the malcontents is hilarious. They account EvH and OvC
amongst the Historic Fixtures, which apparently include rugby's
Calcutta Cup, allegedly played in Kolkata, and the Stanley Cup, which
is the Canadian ice hockey championship - or possibly the one-off
trophy awarded at the 1926 British Grand Prix.

It's so riddled with factual errors and delusional assertions about
how important the matches are that it could have been written by the
village idiot himself.

If the malcontents get even 10% of the vote, I shall be pretty
surprised. 3% seems more likely.
