Talking about films I had not realised how big the Shepparton studio
complex is till it some publicity this week with Amazon Prime signing a 10
year contract to use them, with Netflix already doing so
that is two of the “new style” production companies using them which must
bode well .
Local news reports can sometimes be a bit suspect so the claim by one that
Shepperton is now the second largest studio complex in the world I would
like bit more info on.

I was surprised to hear that, too. I think it's based on combining Pinewood, Shepperton and Teddington.

What surprised me even more is the location of the largest film studio complex in the world. No, it's not Hollywood,
Bombay or even Lagos. It's Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad!

Though that last link is around 14 years old and a lot can happen since
then,
for instance the Teddington Studios mentioned as part of the Pinewood
conglomerate were demolished and redeveloped in 2016.

Yes, I'd not noticed the date.
