No respite from well before dawn. The rain has been plummeting down and
driven along the crescent since what seems like forever. Nothing else
to say at the moment except the clouds are very dark and it's looking
extremely dour. Barometric pressure has dropped precipitously in the
last hour to 983.6 mB with RH showing as 96%. Forecast is for the rain
to stop around noon when BYT should make an appearance and stay here
until just after tea-time seeing the temperature rise to 12�C (53.6�F)
around 14:00. From then the rain will return and continue throughout
the night. Here's hoping you can enjoy whatever you're doing today.
Sootie was up and breakfasted around 08:30 but refused point blank,
to venture outside. It was as though there was force field across all
the outside doors, even her little black snout couldn't poke out the
doorway. So she's retired to her bed looking all miserable. Another
cancelled day, so I decided to go and relax in a nice warm bath. No
need to say that we've not seen Tabby since she lunched here yesterday.

Good afternoon from Somerset.
58F and 988mb. It was raining when I got up this morning, but it stopped
about an hour later, and I am currently seeing sunny intervals. It is
still pretty windy though and I still haven't got round to getting the
rain gadget working again so I have no idea how much of the yellow
warning for rain actually fell.
