Worked fine for me, only slight issue was my photo to be confirmed
against passport, took a few goes.

Works perfectly for me and has done from when I first installed it. It
took me a few goes to get my Covid status recorded on it but that was
because they took a bit of time to get that feature working. I guess I
was trying before they were ready because, one day, I decided to try
again after a hiatus and it worked first time. Did my wife's phone,
worked straight away on hers too.

I had to buy a new mobile phone & upgrade the "android" thing before I
could access it!
It tells me I have "standard" ID, and I had to upload the drivers
licence, birth certificate and jump thru more hoops to get this. It
won't work with the mugshot feature. The design of the tax portals
is a joke and they pick Sundays (when I do the books) to service the
application! I despair!
