Despite Warner withdrawing his application to have his leadership ban
revoked the NSW campaign to force CA to do so rolls on. Today in the SMH
they've got Smith Doing His Bit For Davey.

So, from the top; "From my point of view, banning someone for life from
leadership is just fundamentally wrong...�. What? So, according to Smith,
it doesn't matter what you do, you should *never* get a life ban from
leadership. That's a novel pov on crime and punishment.

"David�s served his time...". Not unless he's dead he hasn't Mr Smith.

isn't he. Still earning millions. Besides, if you can't do the time,
don't do the crime.

Africa". Gak! A fantastic example of the NSW sense of entitlement. In
this NSW mindset there is no possibility at all of Warner being dropped
for his current poor form.

You need to remember that Smith is privy to information that you don't have..

I strongly suspect that information is "every single person in the team was involved in the ball tampering, including coaching staff, and Warner is just the fall guy".

I wouldn't claim that cricketers are the brightest people out there but I'd hope that in an entire touring squad there'd have been somebody who said "FFS don't use bright yellow sandpaper"
