I think Abrar took 11-234 so well done him but what is the
most expensive 10 for in a FC match ever? I thought it
might be oz Kreza who took 12-358 in India a few years
back. Is there any more expensive?

Your memory is good, Krejza 2nd on the list. Here's the answer for Test matches at least - 10 wickets in match ordered by economy rate:

https://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=1;filter=advanced;orderby=economy_rate;orderbyad=reverse;qualmin1=10;qualval1=wickets;template=results;type=bowling;view=match

Abrar is the 5th most un-economical of Test 10+ wicket hauls...

Yes - CS Nayudu took 11-428 for Holkar v Bombay at Bombay in the 1944/45 Ranji Trophy Final (a timeless match). That is the most runs conceded by a bowler in a FC match, regardless of wickets taken.

https://stats.acscricket.com/Records/First_Class/Overall/Bowling/Most_Runs_Conceded_in_a_Match.html

Krejza is 6th on that list, but 3rd of those who took 10+ wickets (Grimmett is the other one above him). Mailey (4th on the list) conceded his 362 in one innings (the record for an innings) when Victoria made the FC record total of 1107. Krejza's 358 is the most conceded in a non-timeless match.

Thanks, looking at the scoreboard, he bowled 152 overs, is that a record too? I know Ramadin
bowled a load against may in the 50s.

That Indian match was when Compton scored 249no 'chasing' a target of 867.

Whos bowled the most overs/balls in a match without taking a wkt? Cos I notice poor old Maurice Tate
bowled 100 overs [800 balls] in the final test at the MCG in 1929, ended up with 0-184.

That is easily the Test record. The next most overs is 71. I don't know
whether it's the FC record.

Not necessarily a 10-fer, I remember Botham in 1984 taking 8 for a huge amount over two innings off of not very many overs.......he got thumped around mercilessly and only took a wicket when the Windies batsman swung and missed.

Fred Trueman on TMS was not impressed.
