b4 my time but i believe Sobers 365* was his first test 100, and he
followed it with 2 more 100s in the next match, and was only out
the once. after that i think he averaged 50-60 for the rest of his
career.

there was an oz chap who after an average ashes tour [2015?] went
back home and plundered the windies bowlers for 2 or 3 doubles
so that he boosted his average to bradmanesque levels. It didnt
last though.

Jack Carson went an entire u11 season without getting out. By the end
of the season he had scored 600 runs including 121 not out in an all
Ireland final. Some of the games would have been 3rds playing against
adults and older lads..
The following season he was at Sussex and there he remains.

Yes, his average went from 34 to almost 56 in those two Tests. After
another 100 at Bombay in the first Test of the next series, his average
never dropped below 56, peaking at over 63 3 times.
