The central heating came on yesterday, which means that the core of the
house dropped below 20C for the first time since March. Outside it is 10C (I
expect our Canadian friends will be laughing at that).

another reason I use Google groups is because I'm computer illiterate google groups just takes a single page form to fill out. Where is these other fancy-schmancy news readers you talk about a very complicated and they're totally beyond me in an any case. Once I get Google groups established with that one page form it's perfectly usable. Do you know if I sent a message to Rusty Staub ? He reads it and then he bitches about this little thing a good group of this little thing about Google group in that and then he responds to me in by the Turing test. He understood what I said perfectly so everything sucks. Eat more pecans. Are used to be a happy member of the shed, but this has destroyed that good feeling I hope the kernel comes back to entertain you.

9C last night, a bit over 50C tonight. There'll be nighttime frost
any night now but none so far so basil, tomatoes and nasturtiums
(nasturtia?) still flourish.

Nasturtium seeds are good pickled. Young leaves go well in salads. Never
tried them as a pot-herb, thobut.
