Assuming that Foakes and Pope play in all the Tests, then I imagine
Smith is likely to get plenty of games as keeper by default. I'm glad to
see him back in form, as he had a hard time of it for much of last
summer. I imagine that bowlers had seen enough of him by then to work
out what his weaknesses were (the so-called "second season syndrome").
