There were 11, not 53 undead. And why, when I trype the first post, and
I try to append the worm 'Why' to the beginning, does Thunderbum try to
SEND the thing - not once, not twice, but several of times, culminating
in getting its way and dispaching the post unadded-to?

Just now - 1 undead showing. Click on Shed, doubles to 2, but 'undead'
in the systray shows 10.

I think somebody has introduced an annoying bug into Chunderbird (I'm on
the posh new release 115.3.1). When I type a followup, such as this, and
send it, if I then press the space bar to go to the next post it instead
behaves as if I've clicked on Followup and pops up the compost widow
again. So then I has to close the widow and click on the preview pain to
get it behaving properly again. I'm sure it used to behave properly and
go to the next message if I pressed space after composting and sending.

Try alt.comp.software thunderbird where the Thundernerds live.
Personally I think T'bird is probably the worst newsreader client of the
lot, despite it being a very good email client.

After twenty plus years of using it I find it does all I need it to.
Except that one update broke Leetkey, so I stopped updating it.

I daresay that 'doze eleven will break my preferred version.
