The World Championship final is in June and the Ashes not till August
into September IIRC.

I thought the 1st test is 16th at brum, 2nd at Lords 28th and there
are 3 more somewhere in july.

I notice england have nicked sakar back from oz as fast bowling coach.
hopefully he can help the quicks avoid injury between now and then.

On checking, you're quite right. I really should know better by now than
to rely on my very fallible memory.

To be honest I don't care about the World Championship or Oz v India

for me, its always Australia v England

Hope so but our weather can be anything, but it should be an interesting match.

I see oz have 3 odis in india, cant see the point of those t20s we played. A few more odis would
have been more useful.

I imagine Bangladesh wanted the T20s, as I expect they are more
lucrative, with bigger crowds and probably more money for the TV rights.

yes money talks, and in terms of crowds i expect t20 is the bigger puller
in asia. but i've never seen a study which looked at attendances of tests
odis and t20 in each country to see how it actually pans out.

Anyway thats the end of the winter for england, no more cricket til we play
ireland at Lords in june, and then the ashes. Looking at both england and oz,
there are quite a lot of ? over both teams. Both have ? over at least 1 of their
openers, and the fitness of their fast bowlers, and which ones to choose in the
final 11. Also will oz stick with Carey as keeper? ATM i still rate SS and Marnus
over Root and anyone else, and also Lyon over Leach. Head, Boland and Green
all had an impact in the last ashes, and done well this season too, so if their
quicks are all fit, oz will be a bit stronger than 2019.
