I need a keyboard with LARGE letters on the scalloped mechanical
low-sensitive clicky keys, and no backlighting. Help.

Sounds like model M keyboards, which are still sold new here:

I have an original IBM Model M from 1990. The letters are not bigger
than on other "normal" keyboards I have.

But the keycaps can be removed easily and there exist companies that
create special design keys. Maybe there are keycaps with large letters
available.

I had one but I eventually killed it. I was sad to see it go into the
rubbish and *now* I see in the website above that I could possibly have
obtained parts to repair it. They had a very nice feel to them but were
a tad on the noisy side. The keyboard I am now using is of a similar
principle, an old Mac keyboard of the 90s, an A1048. Way better than the
later chiclet style keyboards, I have two of these.

I whinged about my ordeal reassembling my Model M2 after repair in
aus.electronics a few years ago. Working well since then,
thankfully.

If he can't read the letters on a Model M keyboard then I don't
know what he's doing about the screen. I suppose he could have all
the fonts turned up _really_ big, but I assumed he'd just been
looking at keyboards with particularly small, trendy looking,
print.

I believe you can also buy stickers for keyboards key caps, but I
doubt they last very well.

I have some to make it able to use non-Latin typesets like Russian. They
lasted since 2019. They are a little bit worn out, but they are so
cheap that you can buy new ones every year.
