in the bottom left-hand corner of my screen is a Mint logo applet. As
soon as the cursor gets close it covers around a quarter of the area
with a big, black, menu.

This is unaql when you want it, but being of failing sight, very often I
can't see the little so^h^h^h^arrer and it alwas seems to home-in on
that boodly applet.

Q for FsOAK: can I make the thing only jbex with a double-click rather
than a hair-trigger rollover? Or could I bang it up it in a folder which
has to be opened?

IMO it's the very worst feature of Mint

Orca, not to be confused with the Whale of the same name. Compatible
with most office suites available for Linux.

There are also one or two Linux screen readers designed to work only
with the command line interface.
