Not a good forecast.
This evening, winds will become very strong from the north reaching gale
or even storm force in places. Blustery spells of rain, sleet and snow
are likely, higher areas will see significant snowfall.

Mornin' from a dry, cool, clear, bright and sunny day here in South
Yorkshire. We are also being a little buffeted by a gusty, up to 30
mph, 25 wind from the North west. Temperature out there is 8.4�C
(47.1�F) but feeling more like 4.5�C (40.1�F). Barometric pressure is
falling rapidly, at 990.4 mB with RH showing as 72%. We had a lot of
rain overnight since the saucer of food I left for Tabby was � full of
water this morning. Mind you all the biscuits had gone. Forecast is
for it to remain dry and sunny, despite that wind. It will cloud over
from early evening, producing overnight rain and temperatures down to
1�C (33.8�F) but feeling more like -7�C (19.4�F) in that high, gusty
wind from the WNW. Wind speeds will gradually increase overnight,
gusting up to almost 40 mph tomorrow. Have a great week-end everyone.
Sootie was breakfasted and out by 09:15 but was quickly back indoors
for another good morning snooze. No sighting of Tabby since yesterday
evening.

Good morning from Somerset.
49F and 994. I listened to the local weather forecast and it said it
would be an overcast morning with heavy showers, and I looked out of the
window and I saw blue sky and bright sunshine. I decided to do a bit of
shopping, and by the time I had got ready to go out it had got really
gloomy and windy and it was raining really hard. I waited and the sun
came out again so I went shopping and it has stayed dry since. There is
still a cold gusty wind though.
