Good (?) morning from Somerset.
38F and 996mb. It is cloudy, it is blowing a gale outside with things
being blown audibly along the road, and it is unlikely to improve much
during today. Despite that, I still have to go out this afternoon.

Best wishes to everybody.

Jim

Mornin.
What a night and what a morning.
Bins tipped out and blown all over the place.
The back yard gate is blown open and all twisted.
Still awful out there but like Jim I need to go along the street.
Hope all are well or mending.
Stay safe Each.

Mornin' from a damp, cold, overcast and all white day here in South
Yorkshire. We had between 1" - 2" of snow overnight when the
temperature fell to around freezing point in the wee small hours.
Temperature out there now is 3.3C (37.9F) but feeling more like -4C
(24.8F) due to the wind chill from the, up to 30 mph wind from the
North. , barometric pressure is climbing from it's overnight minimum
of 981.2 mB to 992.2 mB with RH showing as 86%. Forecast is for it to
remain overcast with the temperature to cool slowly throughout the
afternoon to around 1C (30.2F) by tea-time. There's the chance of
lots more precipitation though, of which kind they don't say. Overnight
temperature could get as low as -2C (28.4F) but feeling more like -7C
(19.4F). Have great day. Maybe it's time that you waxed your skis and
gave them a test run before all the white round you has melted away.
Have a great day one and all but take care and stay safe.
Sootie was not impressed with the white stuff this morning at took
hour after her 08:30 breakfast to completely toast her tummy and toes
before venturing outside. !0 minutes later se was back on the outside
window ledge begging to be let in again. She's now cancelled the rest
of today and looks settled for a day's snooze on her bed. No Tabby
today but she did have a good supper just after midnight, so should be
OK for a few hours yet.
