In an episode of "Bugs" (starring her from the Bill, and him from
Neighbours, and him that turned up later in Emmerdale ... etc. ) a
"tracking/remote control device" in an aircraft (I think), turned out to be
an Astec UM1233 UHF modulator, widely used in 80's home computers of the day.
