A decent crowd but not as large as the Middlsex v Sussex .

What was depressing was the formulaic nature of the game. There is so little time to "write" a T20 match and games have a uniformity which makes the outcome of most matches predictable after the completion of the first inning

The behaviour of spectators is depressing. There is a constant movement of spectators who generally do not observe the rule that you don't move when an over is in progress , there is cheering seemingly unrelated to the action on the field and a great deal of inanity.

If this is the future of cricket God help this beautiful and most complex of games.
