Good morning from Somerset.
38F and 1005mb. The wind has calmed down but it is still from a cold
direction, so despite the mostly blue sky with only a scattering of
light clouds, the bright sunshine isn't making much difference to the
temperature which dipped to below freezing last night, and is now at the
forecast maximum for the day.

and feeble sun has broken through the cloud and is doing his utmost to
warm us up and thaw the snow and ice. Temperature out there is still

increased overnight and now been steady for a few hours at 1006.3 mB

Tabby arrived at 23:00 again last night and ate a good supper. This
was well after Sootie had taken to her bed. Sootie has been out this
morning around 09:30, but didn't stay out for very long. Still not
warm enough for her. She much prefers toasting her tummy and toes in
front of the lounge gas fire. Back in bed asleep now, her not me that
is!

Wind has dropped considerably here to almost still. The snow that had
arrived on Friday night has lingered and another couple of inches has
fallen on top of it this morning. Leaden skies do offer a threat of more
but I expect it will all disappear tonight/tomorrow.

Well the wind has stopped blowing and the sun is out.
Will see what tomorrow brings and I may get somework done repairing the

Well lot's of sunshine this morning and more snow this afternoon and now
approaching midnight everything is freezing like mad as temperature is
already down at -2.2C (28.0�F). Used up a big proportion of my winter
fuel payment I reckon. Glad it was upped by another �100 now Im over
80. :)
